Welcome!  In all things, First Presbyterian Church of Poteau is a welcoming church.  We welcome visitors to join us for Sunday school, worship or any fellowship activity. 

Our worship service, Sunday mornings at 11:00 blends elements of traditional Presbyterian worship with some contemporary music, and an informal, friendly manner.  Our sermons begin with verses from scripture, sometimes delving into the ancient understandings, but always try to point toward how we can apply these teachings in our lives. 

Our people range in age from 1 to 97, and we enjoy seeing one another.  We celebrate the Lord’s Supper the first Sunday of each month, and welcome all who love Jesus Christ to share in his table.  The second Sunday is our Fellowship Luncheon, immediately after worship.  The regulars bring favorite foods to share, and visitors are always invited to share with us.

Sunday school begins at 10:00.  The children are currently meeting in our annex.
